Mads Christian Esbensen takes over from Ditte Kirstein Brammer as general manager of JKL’s office in Copenhagen. Mr Esbensen is one of Denmark’s leading advisors in the fields of public affairs and strategic communication, and will lead JKL’s continued expansion efforts in Denmark. The Copenhagen office’s management group also includes Malin Petersson and Nikolaj Bøgh.

”Mads Christian, together with the management group, is taking over leadership of a strong team of advisors which has made an even greater impression on the Danish market in recent years. Mr Esbensen has served as communication advisor at JKL from 2003 through 2006 and again since January 2009. He also has experience gained at other communication firms and as a lecturer and author on communication and political consulting.

”With an excellent team and backed by JKL’s strength in the Nordic region, I’m looking forward to taking up the task of continuing to expand JKL in Denmark,” said Mr Esbensen. ”I’ve received an excellent response from Danish clients to our way of tackling the challenges of corporate communication, and we want to refine and develop this.”

Ditte Kirstein Brammer, general manager of JKL Copenhagen since October 2008, will remain at JKL during a transition period after which she will be leaving the company.
